Terms and Conditions for RG Professional Painters, LLC

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the RG Professional Painters, LLC website (“Site”) and the services we provide. By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About RG Professional Painter, LLC

RG Professional Painters, LLC (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a licensed painting contractor based in Richmond, VA. We offer residential and commercial painting services, including preparation, priming, painting, and finishing.

2. Services

All services are described in the written proposal or contract issued by the Company. The Company reserves the right to change the scope of work, materials, or pricing only with written consent from the Customer.

3. Ordering and Quotes

  1. Request – You may request a quote by completing the online form, contacting us by phone, or emailing us.
  2. Proposal – Upon receipt of your request, the Company will provide a written proposal that includes a detailed scope of work, estimated cost, and timeline.
  3. Acceptance – By signing the proposal (electronic or paper), you accept the terms set forth in that proposal. Signed proposals supersede these Terms for the specific project.

4. Payment

  1. Deposit – A deposit of 25 % of the total quoted price is due upon acceptance of the proposal.
  2. Balance – The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work or according to the schedule in the proposal.
  3. Late Payment – Late payments may accrue a 5 % monthly interest fee and a flat fee of $50.
  4. Change Orders – Any changes to the scope of work after the proposal is signed will be billed separately as a change order.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information for the job.
  • Ensure access to the property for our crew, equipment, and materials.
  • Remove or protect furniture, fixtures, and other items that could be damaged.
  • Follow any safety instructions we provide during the project.

6. Company Responsibilities

  • Perform work in a professional and workmanlike manner.
  • Use paint and materials that meet industry standards and are suitable for the specific application.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and building codes.

7. Warranty

The Company warrants the quality of workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion, subject to normal wear and tear. Paint colors may fade over time and are not covered by the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external events.

8. Liability

The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the total amount paid for that specific project.

9. Cancellation

  1. Customer Cancellation – The Customer may cancel the project at any time, but must pay a cancellation fee equal to 20 % of the projected total cost.
  2. Company Cancellation – The Company may cancel the project for reasons such as material shortages, scheduling conflicts, or inability to obtain necessary permits. In such cases the Customer will receive a full refund of any payments made.

10. Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising from these Terms or the services will be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia. Parties agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration in Richmond, with each party bearing its own costs.

11. Privacy

We collect personal information only to provide and improve our services. Your information is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to the Terms

The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site and take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any signed proposal, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the subject matter herein.
